The college started in 2008 with three departments and Mechanical Department was one of them. In 2008 intake capacity was 60. In 2009 intake capacity was increased 120. Again in 2011 intake capacity were increased 60 intake for direct second year. From its inception, Mechanical Department is reputed for its knowledgeable, hardworking and caring faculty members as well as enthusiastic, intelligent and disciplined students. Mechanical Department is well known for presenting consistently good academic results and excelling in co-curricular as well as extra-curricular activities.

      The present age demands Mechanical Engineering specialists who have the capacity of adaptability and creativity in the new technical areas. Mechanical Engineers should have knowledge not only in their own specialized fields but also in wide interdisciplinary fields as well. To meet the above requirements Mechanical Engineering department offers the courses like ANSYS, CNC, CAD, EDP, and Aptitude Tests with an excellent training.

      The department has highly qualified and dedicated faculty and is known for its high academic standard, well-maintained discipline and complete infrastructure facilities. The Department has maintained a good rapport with industries and R & D organizations.
