Young, dynamic, and talented engineers are available to explore tremendous opportunities in various fields in today`s highly competitive and globalized world. However, in this fast-changing world, young engineers need to be able to adapt to the global corporate standards, new technology, and expectations.
Under this vision, the Training & Placement Committee, led by Prof. Swapnil S. Jadhav and senior faculty members from all departments, is doing its best to enhance the all-round development and career growth of our students. The committee takes proactive steps to ensure students develop the skills that are relevant to the industry and empower them to become better professionals and technical experts by promoting technical skills, professional ethics, leadership, and communication skills among the students.
The Training & Placement Cell is one of the most dynamic & vital arms of the institute. Various organized training and placement programs are organized throughout the year to build student confidence, skills, and industry readiness for campus placement drives and career options.
Every engineering student is encouraged to be a part of debating sessions, group discussions, essay writing, technical presentations, and other co-curricular activities from the first year of engineering, which helps to build their confidence, creativity, communication, and interpersonal skills. The institute is well-equipped with the language laboratories where second-year students are given intensive training in language and communication to develop a solid base for professional communication.
The third-year engineering students are trained thoroughly on preparing for the tough competitive recruitment process, which includes the development of aptitude skills, communication skills, logical reasoning, interview skills, resume preparation, personality grooming, and overall preparation for professional life. The demanding training programs instill practical skills and confidence in students to perform well in aptitude tests, group discussions, technical interviews, and HR interactions.
The Training & Placement Cell also actively facilitates students exploring various career prospects in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), the Armed Forces, Government Services, and new industries through frequent expert talks, career guidance sessions, and industry connects.
The institute adheres to the “ONE STUDENT – ONE OFFER” policy, which ensures fairness, transparency, and equal opportunity for all deserving students, meaning that once a student gets selected by one company in the campus recruitment process, they will not be allowed to participate in any other campus recruitment process. This policy is based on the institute`s approach to maximizing the placement of all eligible students.
